Born in Mozambique (Beira), studied in Portugal at the National Film Conservatory and returned to Mozambique at the time of Independence. He was a journalist during the first 8 years of the new country. He was a founding member of Alpha Cooperativa de Fotografia , Ebano Multimédia and, finally, PROMARTE , where he has been a managing partner since 1993. He made several fiction films and documentaries, including Another Man's Garden , Buzio , The Window , Inheritance of the Widow , Paths of Peace, Criminal Impunity and the most recent Mabata Bata, which has already received several international awards.
He also has experience as a screenwriter and Co-Production having played these roles in all feature films co-produced by PROMARTE. He is currently developing the film THE ANCORAGE OF TIME, based on a novel by MIA COUTO.

Administrative Director
Emerson Fernandes de Sousa, Graduate in Business and Financial Management, holds the position of Administrator and has as specific duties to take care of the administrative and financial processes of the Company.
ISABEL GUAMBE
Administrator and Accountant
Graduated in accounting has been developing her skills in the company. Assists the administration and is fundamental for the whole team. She manages book releases of accounts.
